I'm a wife, mom, crafter, blogger and on the advisory board for an anti-bullying organization. I enjoy being with my family (including our pets, 1 dog, 1 fish), reading, blogging, writing reviews and quilting. I also love writing House fanfic, watching ice hockey (go Bolts!) and photography.

I have several autoimmune disorders, drug allergies, and chronic pain conditions over the past 18 years. I began with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia in 1995, Chronic Daily Headache and Complex Migraine Disease in 2004, and was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis in 2010. My youngest child has anaphylactic food allergies and asthma, and my oldest has exercise-induced asthma, as well as mild PANDAS. My husband, my rock, is healthy (aside from Bell's Palsy which flares up once every 7-10 years).

I follow no one doctor to the letter. But I have learned how to be a better advocate for myself and my family.
