Acerca de Mi

I used to tell people I wanted to know everything, weigh nothing and live forever.  I'm interested in life extension research especially relating to calorie reduction, but also want to have a full and juicy life while I'm living it. My current best theory about food comes from a friend who says "no food with ingredients" - meaning that if it's a whole food, go ahead. Apple? No ingredients. Beans? No ingredients. Bag of chips? Oops. It's a very workable system.

I do yoga, dance, go hiking and generally live in my body. This seems to be working for me. I dislike gyms with rooms full of people trudging endlessly to nowhere on machines. My ideal gym would have trapezes and ribbons and trampolines and lots of toys and then I might go. 

I'm a research junkie and information junkie which is how I found this site. So far I still don't know everything but I do keep trying...

Hey tinkonthebrink your just like me except for I want the ribbons attatched to my tread mill! Ha, ha, ha! I am working hard to weigh nothing but muscle which I pronounce (musk-el) but working out at 5:30 every morning means... well it means I probably should wake up at 4:30 anyway just want give you the thumbs up and keep doing what you've been doing because it works... -1perspective

I did mean 12.5mg. If you really had gone to the links as you said you did, you would learn a lot. It is you who is sadly misinformed. Do real research and get up to speed. I have been taking 300mg of iodine for over a year and am far healthier than all of my friends. Hi, tinkonthebrink. I wasn't able to get back to you till this following morning. You mentioned taking carby rice with quinoa two hours after workout. Dr.M had suggested that if you must consume carbs, the best time was early in the day (breakfast) in order to burn off those carby calories during the course of the day. That said, I would think that those early carbs would/could give you that extra edge to do that morning excercise. My best, grulla.
